A native Texan, Dr. Kara Bailey was born in Pasadena and graduated as the Valedictorian of Deer Park High School in 1993. She ventured to the cold winters of South Bend, Indiana on a softball scholarship to the University of Notre Dame where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997. Dr. Bailey returned home to attend dental school at the University of Texas-Houston and earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2001. She was honored to continue her studies in an orthodontic residency program at the University of Texas-Houston and earned a Master of Science degree and a Certificate in Orthodontics in 2003.
Dr. Bailey is an active member of many professional organizations including the Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Bailey has been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Madison and Mallory. Dr. Bailey spent some time as a missionary in Ghana, West Africa while in dental school and still holds a passion for mission work. She is a member of Monument Baptist Church in Deer Park where her father is the pastor.
